With the recent release of the Twilight Hack, homebrew development has increased rapidly.
Today, there’s an MP3 player, a Linux proof-of-concept, a Dreamcast ROM conversion tool(no download as of yet), and an SNES emulator.

WriteELF has been released by Brakken. This is a program that is to be used in conjunction with Team Twiizers’ Twilight Hack v0.1 Alpha 2 and allows users to write ELF files from their PC to their SD cards.
Please, PLEASE, read the documentation for this before using it. It is an extremely powerful tool, and can cause major damage if used improperly.

Team Twiizers has updated the Twilight Hack to v0.1 Alpha 2. The new release will now automatically load an ELF file from the SD card if there is one.
This comes at an opportune time, as Auby has just released Tetris for the Wii, and the controls are mapped, unlike his previous release of Pong.
Links to both files are included in this news post at the bottom.

Comments (18)Team Twiizers has been hard at work recently. The team released an exploit for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess that they dubbed the Twilight Hack. This exploit crashes the game and runs a basic ELF loader. This loader has already been used to load a Hello World program, a Pong clone(unplayable, the controls have yet to be mapped), and Tachtig, a saved game packer/unpacker. Team Twiizers is currently working to make the loader more user-friendly, expanding the compatibility, and, ultimately, to load Linux.
This is arguably the best news regarding Wii homebrew since the system was actually released.
