red steel has received many reviews with different views; some say that it sucks, and others dont want to put it down. i am one of those that does not want to put it down, i purchased red steel 2 days ago and i am addicted. most of the negative reviews are from people not liking the controls. just because it is not wii sports, and the controls require you to have the iq of at least a twelve year old, most people wish to never play the game. for those that have not played it, the controls are easy to learn after a couple of minutes and i love the story line. also, the adult feel to the game really seperates itself from its counterparts such as wii sports, wii play, excite truck etc.
one of the cons is that in the heat of battle your opressors throw the same taunts at you repeatedly, but after a while i failed to care because i was so enthralled in the game.

I give it a 9/10

Yea i know some ppl love it and some people despise it. I dont know if im goin to buy it. But Gamestop lowered the price to $30, so ill probably take a crack at it.

1st two games i bought w/ the wii was red steel and zelda.... zelda is awsome.... red steel is an okay game the controlling is easly to learn but its not pixel perfect..... I wanna see how Far Cry is i heard it has better controlling then red steel...... as far as the story line goes its ok but lol i would like to see movie cut scenes instead of comic type pic's

Its all about Medal Of Honor, it has customizable controls and the graphics look ok. Im saving my money for that. (Comes out next Mon.)

I got Far Cry on pc and it rocks, but after seeing it get like 30% in a magazine that I trust I won't even bother downloading it.

No I mean I don't usually bother too much with reviews because sometimes maybe a game will get like 60-70% but you might really like it but when this mag gave it like 30% I knew it was a pile of dogshit.

It got like 2 out of 5 on xplay yesterday. Because of bad handling and even badder graphics.

@chicken_rustler the pc game was awesome, I was trying to make the point that aftre playing the pc version it made the wii version seem even shitter.

I dl'd red steel and MOH and i think MOH is better, but red steel is pretty fun too. Ive already beat MOH and im probably about 1/2 through red steel. I just want a good fps and my chip is fried and until i recover it, i cant play Corruption.
