This'll sound very noobish, but is this a converter that'll allow video playback off an SD card?

sorry for being a complete noob but I'm totally new to the Wii hacking scene and never realised ninty hacks existed until yesterday despite being a mod over at 360 hacks for ages :oops:

does it require anything else installed to be able to run it? I keep trying to open it and it keeps coming up with an error report.

to operate it, open wii video 9. then you will see the tabs at the top, go to the conversion tab. select on click conversion. select your video file when prompted. then once done it will convert automatically. to transfer the converted file select the library tab at the top and select the wii icon. then it is pretty self explanatory.

i heard that you can watch the videos through the photo channel, but when i inserted an sd card with a video on it, i was never prompted to watch video.

It should come up WITH the photos. Click it when you see it and it should start playing.

Does anyone know a good vid converter? I have a itunes download but i forgot my account shyt....so i thought i should be able to convert the vid to get the security off. Anyone know any good programs?

well i use the ImTOO products, mainly for my psp. if u *buy* it, its a really good converter.

www.freewarefiles.com has a lot of freeware and i get quite a bit of stuff suh as converters there

or you might resor to to "buying" *cough, cough* software

i dont use avast! , i use avg (availabe at grisoft.com) it allows me to enter the site without getting malware

well i got it . and it makes perfect sense it firmware does not have the information to run mp4s thats why the y have to be in a pic type file. jpg.bmp. its like windows without word installed you cant view word file
