Hi! I have a moded Wii I bought last March. I stopped playing games on it for about 1 1/2 months. Now when i try the burned games, they no longer work. The Wii keeps saying that it cant read the disc. I have several burned games and they all used to work. I tried all of them but no go. I finally tried the Wii Sports that came with the console and it works just fine. I tried researching on the Web for a possible cause and solution for the problem. As far as I can tell the console has not been moved since I had first set it up. The console is not making any weird noises at all. I tried blowing air into the unit, hoping it would fix the problem but no go. I tried cleaning the discs too but no go. I read somewhere on the web that the lens is most probably dirty and needs to be cleaned. How do I do that? Can I use a DVD cleaner disk that I use in my DVD Player, the one that has small brushes on the disk? I am a noobie and have never opened up any of my consoles, I always have a technician do all the modding and fixing. I do not know what mod chip was used. My firmware is 3.2u, I have not updated to the latest one yet. The games were working with this firmware. Again it only seem to have problems with burned game, original games seem fine. Please help.
