Easier to use a bluetooth donlge.
Though this way would atleast be a sure fire way to get it working. Still a bit of hassle.
But kudos for finding the trick.
Certainly the trick is the main source of interest. But is it _easier_ to use bluetooth? WiiToX requires nothing save installing xautomation and downloading/running the wiitox script. It’s much more round-about, but I think it’s also more simple.
I guess the real question is if ya wanna tie up your Wii or not.
Though for me I just use my wii for its sensor bar when using bluetooth. Though this method would give a more stable connection.
eh, i got it working thinking it would be better, the mouse Does skip around my screen “unencrypted connection Wirelessly” it does bottleneck at times, but at least it works, since i have no bluetooth this is the way i can get it working.

hey thats pretty cool im lookin to get a wii my self but i wanted to know what was that window switching thing he had on his desktop where u just roll over windows like that that was pretty cool how did u do that?
Its a visual effect, since hes running linux he probably uses beryl, compiz or compiz fusion. If hes running ubuntu as his distribution it comes with that effect using compiz. I believe there is software available for doing that in windows or mac but I’m not 100% sure on that.
